As we continue to expand our North American power portfolio from approximately 4 GW today to nearly 8 GW by 2031, we are seeking a Manager, Commercial Analytics to play a critical role in shaping our commercial strategy. This position will provide market intelligence, portfolio insights, and analytical leadership across key wholesale power markets including ERCOT, AESO, and PJM.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the development and stewardship of forward-looking power market views across ERCOT, AESO, and PJM, ensuring insights support strategic, commercial, and risk management decisions.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Commercial Analytics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee the development, validation, and governance of advanced market and valuation models, including production cost, dispatch, congestion, and scenario analysis tools.

  • Drive portfolio optimization and commercial value creation by translating market intelligence, asset performance data, and valuation insights into actionable strategies that inform trading, hedging, origination, and structuring decisions.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Origination, Trading, Structuring, Risk, Finance, Asset Management, and Business Development to shape deal economics, challenge assumptions, align risk-return trade-offs, and improve commercial outcomes.

  • Provide enterprise-level leadership on market analytics, including congestion dynamics, transmission constraints, regulatory and market design changes, and other key value drivers to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and strategic implications.

  • Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership, enabling informed decisions on portfolio positioning, capital allocation, and value creation.

  • Provide leadership oversight of portfolio performance, risk exposure, and enterprise priorities, contributing to strategic planning, performance monitoring, risk mitigation, and long-term value creation across the North American Power portfolio.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in power market analytics, trading analytics, commercial optimization, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

  • Strong understanding of wholesale electricity markets, with experience in ERCOT, AESO, and/or PJM preferred.

  • Experience performing congestion analysis, transmission studies, and market fundamentals assessments.

  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency with Python, Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.

  • Proven ability to synthesize complex datasets and market information into clear, actionable business insights.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across multidisciplinary teams.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment with occasional travel throughout the US and Canada (10-30%).

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
