Job Description
CSCI Consulting is seeking a Knowledge Management Analyst to support its Department of War (DoW / DoD) client. This role is responsible for capturing, organizing, governing, and maintaining program knowledge throughout implementation, testing, deployment, hypercare, and transition to steady-state operations. The Knowledge Management Analyst will ensure project teams, agency stakeholders, trainers, support personnel, and sustainment resources have access to accurate, approved, and current documentation needed to support successful adoption and long-term operations. This role plays a critical part in documentation governance, version control, knowledge transfer, training readiness, audit support, and operational handoff activities within a structured federal delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Capture, organize, and maintain project knowledge assets, including requirements, process flows, design decisions, configuration rationale, testing evidence, issue logs, and operational procedures
- Administer and maintain centralized document repositories and knowledge libraries to ensure approved artifacts remain current, accessible, and properly governed
- Develop and maintain user-facing documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), quick reference guides, job aids, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and support materials
- Support documentation readiness and approval activities for key implementation milestones, including SIT, UAT, training, deployment readiness, user confirmation testing, and operational handoff
- Coordinate with functional, technical, finance, reporting, PMO, and stakeholder teams to validate documentation accuracy, completeness, and usability
- Identify documentation gaps, outdated materials, duplicate content, missing approvals, and version control issues; coordinate corrective actions with document owners
- Support governance processes for document ownership, review cycles, approval workflows, version management, retention requirements, and archival procedures
- Maintain traceability between requirements, business processes, testing artifacts, training materials, deployment documentation, and operational support procedures
- Organize implementation evidence and support materials to facilitate effective knowledge transfer to agency users, support teams, and sustainment organizations
- Support training activities, office hours, hypercare operations, and post-go-live stabilization by ensuring updated procedures and solutions are documented and easily accessible
- Assist with sustainment planning by documenting lessons learned, recurring issues, resolutions, and process improvements
Minimum Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Knowledge Management, Information Systems, Public Administration, Technical Writing, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted
- 5-10+ years of experience supporting knowledge management, documentation governance, operational readiness, training support, or enterprise system implementations
- Experience organizing and managing large volumes of project documentation in structured repositories and document management platforms
- Strong understanding of document lifecycle management, version control, approval workflows, and content governance
- Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, job aids, quick reference guides, FAQs, knowledge articles, training materials, and support documentation
- Ability to coordinate effectively across business, technical, PMO, training, and stakeholder teams
- Experience supporting compliance-driven environments requiring formal documentation controls and audit readiness
- Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
- Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting OneStream, ERP, EPM, financial transformation, or enterprise software implementation programs
- Familiarity with implementation lifecycle artifacts, including requirements documentation, solution designs, testing evidence, training content, deployment materials, and support procedures
- Experience supporting change management, user adoption, training readiness, communication planning, or organizational transition activities
- Knowledge of SharePoint governance, content management systems, knowledge bases, and enterprise collaboration tools
- Experience supporting knowledge transfer, documentation handover, and sustainment readiness activities
- Familiarity with records management, audit support, and compliance documentation practices
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
- Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
- Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
- Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
- Past experience working with a Federal agency
- Department of War experience is a plus!
