Pay Range: $17.93 - $29.89
Key Performance Areas
KPA 1- Front-End Customer Service & Patient Support
- Provide exceptional customer service over the telephone.
- Answer, triage, and route incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and respond to routine inquiries.
- Accurately process customer transactions.
KPA 2- Pharmacy Operations & Administrative Support
- Perform administrative tasks that support daily pharmacy operations.
- Maintain organized filing systems for prescriptions, pharmacy records, and required documentation.
- Create purchase orders and assist with routine office and pharmacy administrative functions.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
KPA 3- Inventory Management & Supply Control
- Assist with inventory preparation, tracking, and organization.
KPA 4- Pharmacy Maintenance & Regulatory Compliance
- Support adherence to organizational policies, safety standards, and pharmacy procedures.
KPA 5- Team Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
- Accept work assignments based on operational priorities and departmental needs.
- Communicate assignment status, concerns, and project updates to appropriate personnel.
- Demonstrate professionalism by reporting to work on time and fostering positive working relationships.
- Utilize problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to support a productive team environment.
KPA 6- Quality Improvement & Professional Development
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and continuing education opportunities.
- Support performance improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
- Maintain required competencies and complete ongoing training necessary for the position.
Position Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Minimum Relevant Experience
- Previous retail, customer service, or pharmacy support experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software.
- Bilingual proficiency preferred.
Certifications/Licenses
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between sites as needed.
- No professional certification required.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
