Summary Statement:

Maintains positive, consultative relationships with managers and staff to identify and resolve Human Resources issues. Supports HR activities in the areas of talent acquisition, employee relations issues, performance management, compensation, and benefits. The HR business partner does not act as a Human Resources Administrator; rather the partner assumes a significant leadership role in the people management area and acts as the facilitator for the management team of the internal client. Acts as the primary point of the contact for the employees and managers for assigned client group(s).

Primary Responsibilities:
*Provides a broad range of HR support to a client group of approximately 250 employees
*Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs.
*Proactively identifies and consults management on HR matters, including coaching on handling workplace and performance issues, issue resolution, and HR policy and procedure interpretation in collaboration with Director, Human Resources.
*Manages recruitment and selection process of entry- to senior-level applicants; interviews, evaluates, and recommends candidates for employment.
*In collaboration with the Compensation team, recommends and negotiates offers and compensation packages with candidates consistent with IDA internal salary structure and market value.
*Manages and coordinates the annual performance review process for assigned client group.
*In collaboration with the Benefits team, assists employees with benefits and leave issues and concerns.
*Manages the exit process for terminating employees, including termination procedures and exit interviews.
*Performs analyses and provides metrics of HR activity, uses analytics to drive organizational effectiveness.
*Develops strong working relationships and works closely with all HR specialist functions to provide seamless HR support and guidance to the assigned client group including: Training & Development, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits.
*Leads or contributes as a team member on HR projects.
*Proactively reviews on an ongoing basis all HR policies and processes with a view to improve efficiency and effectiveness within legal framework.
*Continually strives to provide "best practice" HR advice and support, through information sharing internally and external benchmarking.
*Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related discipline.
*Minimum 8 years of progressive professional HR experience.
*Proven experience in conflict resolution and organizational management practices within a complex environment.
*A track record of establishing strong working relationships with all levels of management while retaining independence of thought. Proactively develops and maintains effective working relationships with colleagues both in the HR Directorate and among our client base as well as candidates/new hires and external vendors, suppliers, college/university staff, etc. Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade, negotiate and communicate effectively.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with keen attention to detail. Ability to adjust expected tasks/schedule to changing priorities. Ability to take initiative and think proactively and strategically.
*Proficiency in MS Office, Internet recruiting sites (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) as well as business correspondence, writing job postings and good experience in collecting and analyzing recruitment information. Demonstrated aptitude for routine mathematical and statistical applications; prior use of an applicant tracking and/or HRIS system is highly desired.
*Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.

Compensation

We support transparency, equity, and fairness in our compensation program and provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range based on data-driven market analysis for each position. While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $110,397-$176,635. Individual salary within this range will be commensurate with the incumbent's experience, unique skills and qualifications, and other relevant factors.
