Job Title: Production Associate I Location: Houston, TX 77038 Duration: 4 Months Schedule: 8 AM to 4:30 PM, however, the workers should expect to work OT each day till the work has been completed. Possible Saturdays, but not often if they do. Core Responsibilities: Process fresh-cut food orders for shipment (cutting, portioning, tumbling, packing, palletizing) Operate production machinery and safely use knives Package products to meet delivery timelines and quality standards Follow all safety policies and report issues as needed Support additional tasks as assigned by leadership Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Cold & Wet environment (~38F) - candidates must be comfortable working in refrigerated conditions Repetitive, hands-on production work Standing for extended periods Equipment & PPE: Required Day 1: Steel-toe or composite boots (above ankle; confirm slip resistance requirement) Provided: Cap, gloves, smock Will operate production equipment and knives (no forklifts or heavy mobile equipment) Ideal Candidate: Background in manufacturing, warehouse, or food production Comfortable with fast-paced, physical work Strong attention to safety and quality Reliable and able to work assigned shifts and overtime Experience & Responsibilities: 2-3 Years of Experience. Responsible for the staging area, ensuring the cleanliness of the room and all raw product storage. Removing all empty boxes and trash. Minimizing the possibility of an accident to self and others. Reporting any incident or accidents immediately to the department manager. Should possess ability to function as one of a team, as well as to complete duties safely, must be certified by the Safety Manager to operate Industrial equipment. Able to stand for long hours and work in a cold environment. Requirements include ability to lift up to 15-60 pounds and have a high school diploma.
