Compensation: $38-$50 per hour depending on experience
Duration: 12-month contract

Summary:
Sourcers are responsible for driving top-of-funnel recruiting activity across nLIGHT's Technical, Functional, and Product organizations. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-quality talent to support hiring needs across the business. Sourcers will work with recruiters and hiring managers, develop targeted sourcing strategies, build candidate pipelines for current openings, and proactively engage passive talent through personalized outreach. The ideal candidate combines strong sourcing expertise, effective candidate engagement skills, and a data-driven approach to deliver qualified talent and accelerate hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive top-of-funnel recruiting activities across Technical, Functional, and Product teams.
  • Identify, source, and engage qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, niche communities, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for critical roles, ensuring recruiters have a consistent flow of qualified talent.
  • Create personalized outreach campaigns that effectively engage passive candidates and generate meaningful response rates.
  • Serve as a positive representative of nLIGHT, delivering professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the sourcing process.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to calibrate searches, understand role requirements, and define target candidate profiles.
  • Conduct initial candidate evaluations to assess alignment with required qualifications, skills, and experience before advancing candidates further along in the recruiting process.
  • Track and analyze sourcing metrics, including outreach activity, response rates, and pipeline conversion, and adjust strategies to improve results.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within ATS to ensure data integrity and visibility across active searches.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, talent market conditions, competitor hiring activity, and effective sourcing techniques to enhance recruiting effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new sourcing tools and best practices to improve sourcing outcomes and efficiency.
