A Brief Overview

The Neuropsychology Fellowship at the Dept of Neurology at UH of Cleveland provides applied and didactic professional development experience to neuropsychology trainee at the fellowship level of training. With close supervision and guidance, fellows develop and enhance assessment and diagnostic skills, case formulation, and treatment design across the outpatient settings. Fellows are also exposed to diverse forms of neuropsychology and acceptable treatments. By the completion of the fellowship, successful candidates will have become familiar with accepted practices and procedures in the assessment and treatment of neuropsychological problems in diverse clinical settings. Fellows are expected to conduct themselves to the highest ethical and professional standards, and they are expected to make meaningful contributions to patient care. Fellows are expected to maintain at least a 36 to 40 hr to the fellowship program, and before the start of any clinical activities, the supervision of the fellow will be registered with the Ohio State Board of Psychology in accordance to applicable stipulations of the Ohio Administrative Code. Their supervisor of record will approve and delegate all clinical activities performed by the fellow in compliance with applicable regulations. Participating in didactic activities is considered an essential part of the fellowship. To fulfill this expectation, fellows are expected to participate in the didactic activities provided by the Neuropsychology Fellowship Program as an attendant and as a contributor. Assessment and evaluation in the outpatient setting Case formulation and treatment plan design. Presentations to colleagues and other learners on clinically relevant topics. Participation in scholarly activities as appropriate.

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
