As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining, modeling, analyzing, and validating complex system architectures for future torpedo products and related technologies. Working within a cross-functional engineering environment, you'll leverage advanced digital engineering methodologies and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to capture mission requirements, define system architectures, support security accreditation activities, and guide products through the entire systems development lifecycle. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts and system models Capture and define problem-domain and solution-domain architectures for future products Analyze, identify, and resolve system design weaknesses and performance gaps Develop system security documentation and support accreditation and certification activities Evaluate systems, networks, and information systems against government security requirements Create technical engineering products throughout the entire system development lifecycle Support requirements development, decomposition, traceability, and validation activities Define conceptual architectures, system interactions, interfaces, and operational behaviors Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions Support system verification, validation, testing, and production readiness activities Job Requirements What You'll Bring: 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, MBSE, Digital Engineering, Defense Systems Engineering, or related technical disciplines (or 3+ years with a Master's degree) Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related STEM field 3+ years of experience performing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining system models using Cameo Systems Modeler, NoMagic MagicDraw, or similar MBSE tools 3+ years of experience supporting requirements development, management, traceability, and verification activities 2+ years of experience supporting complex system design, integration, validation, or testing efforts What Sets You Apart: Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and systems engineering methodologies Experience supporting security documentation, accreditation, or compliance-related activities Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills Deep expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies Proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler (NoMagic/MagicDraw/Cameo) Experience designing, developing, or testing underwater vehicle systems or torpedo systems Experience leading systems engineering efforts across multiple development phases Strong requirements management and systems modeling expertise Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders Experience supporting technical negotiations and customer-facing engineering discussions Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities Commitment to professional development and continuous learning Interest in leveraging AI technologies to improve engineering productivity, analysis, and innovation Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check Occasional overtime may be required based on project schedules and customer requirements In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
