Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn Good computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel Previous estimating software experience preferred Typing speed of at least 25 WPM Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent attendance and punctuality Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Job Duties Learn to analyze blueprints, specifications, parts lists, and customer documentation to determine manufacturing requirements Assist in preparing accurate cost and time estimates for manufactured parts Consult with outside suppliers and compile request-for-quote (RFQ) information Prepare estimates to support planning, scheduling, bidding, and make-versus-buy decisions Produce timely, accurate, and complete estimates Develop an understanding of competitive manufacturing methods and industry best practices Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams Perform additional duties as assigned by the area lead or management Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
