Join a mission-critical engineering team supporting U.S. Navy Surface Systems programs. As an Infrastructure Hardware Systems Engineer, you'll help deliver secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions that support advanced naval platforms and mission-critical defense operations.
This opportunity is available at both the Infrastructure Hardware Systems Engineer and Advanced Infrastructure Hardware Systems Engineer levels, providing growth opportunities for engineers at different stages of their careers. You'll work within an Agile environment to develop, configure, test, troubleshoot, and support infrastructure hardware systems while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop, configure, and support infrastructure hardware systems for U.S. Navy Surface Ship programs
  • Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of infrastructure solutions
  • Troubleshoot hardware and computing system issues in laboratory and customer environments
  • Interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, rack layouts, and parts lists
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation and technical artifacts
  • Support requirements analysis, design reviews, and system verification activities
  • Create and maintain infrastructure hardware configurations and schematics
  • Participate in Agile engineering activities and daily team collaboration
  • Conduct lab testing, validation, and troubleshooting of system hardware
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure and reliable infrastructure solutions
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, or related technical disciplines
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field
  • 2+ years of experience supporting system integration, hardware testing, troubleshooting, or infrastructure deployment
  • 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, rack layouts, wiring schematics, and technical documentation
  • 1+ year of experience supporting requirements management, systems engineering processes, or system modeling activities
What Sets You Apart:
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts and technical standards
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, lifecycle processes, and technical standards
  • Experience troubleshooting computing hardware in laboratory or field environments
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and rack layouts
  • Experience developing schematics using Siemens Capital Logic Designer
  • Familiarity with requirements management and system modeling tools
  • Experience supporting military, naval, aerospace, or defense programs
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
