Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers

The Physical Therapist II



  • Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy
  • Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students
  • To participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one's self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education
  • Ensures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth and development contribution to the Medical Center
  • Engages in additional duties such as committee work, mentoring new staff or students, and providing weekend or holiday coverage.


Experience:



  • 2+ years experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience with Orthopedic patients
  • Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program


Education:



  • Requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program and current licensure. Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Physical Therapy earned prior to January 1, 2015, from accredited programs, with current licensure, may be accepted based on historical requirements.
  • One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.


Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:



  • Current D.C. licensure as Physical Therapist
  • AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Salary Range: Minimum $40.35/hour - Maximum $66.54/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
