The candidate must have completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, must be board certified or board eligible in pulmonary and/or critical care medicine, and must meet the requirements for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at UCSF. Given our evolving clinical and operational needs as we anticipate further expansion, we are seeking outstanding clinicians with superior clinical and teaching skills. The exact position will vary with the qualifications, skills and interests of hired candidate(s), but could involve a range of inpatient and outpatient care, day or night, at one or multiple UCSF sites. Hired faculty will also have the opportunity to engage in teaching, administrative, and research opportunities across the school of medicine and graduate training programs.
