JOB SUMMARY

The Coiled Tubing Service Quality Coach is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and consistent execution of coiled tubing operations across Little Red Services. This role provides field-based coaching, technical guidance, and operational oversight to improve service quality, reduce nonproductive time (NPT), and ensure adherence to company standards, client expectations, and HSE requirements.

The Service Quality Coach serves as a key link between field crews, engineering, and management, ensuring alignment of operational objectives and continuous improvement across all coiled tubing activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Monitor coiled tubing operations in the field to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with job plans, operating procedures, client expectations, and company service quality standards.

  • Provide hands-on coaching to supervisors, operators, and crew members to reinforce safe work practices, improve technical execution, strengthen decision-making, and support consistent performance across shifts and job sites.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce nonproductive time, improve job efficiency, prevent recurring issues, and support corrective actions through field observations, post-job reviews, and lessons learned.

  • Promote a strong safety culture by modeling safe behaviors, reinforcing hazard recognition, supporting job safety analyses, participating in safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with HSE policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Serve as a field technical resource for coiled tubing operations, including equipment setup, pressure control, well intervention activities, contingency planning, and adherence to approved procedures and operating limits.

  • Support crew development by identifying skill gaps, reinforcing competency requirements, assisting with progression tracking, and providing input on training needs, readiness, and practical field performance.

  • Represent the company professionally in the field by supporting communication with client representatives, helping resolve operational concerns, and ensuring service delivery reflects customer expectations and contractual requirements.

  • Review and support accurate completion of field documentation, job reports, safety observations, service quality records, incident follow-up, and operational feedback needed to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor equipment readiness and performance, identify recurring maintenance or reliability concerns, and help standardize field practices to improve consistency, reduce variation, and support safe, dependable operations.

  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require.

  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.

  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of coiled tubing field experience.

  • Supervisory or management experience in coiled tubing operations.

  • Strong working knowledge of CT operations, equipment, and downhole applications.

  • Proven leadership and coaching experience in field operations.

  • Strong understanding of HSE and company standards.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

  • Driver License required.

  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification required.

  • Must currently posses or have the ability to obtain a Well Control certification upon hire.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in well servicing/well interventions

  • Experience with Arctic or remote operations environments.

  • Involvement in equipment builds, commissioning, or procedural development.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have its own accommodation and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical demands and work environment requirements outlined below are representative of those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. A post-offer, pre-hire Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to ensure an employee's ability to safely meet job standards. Candidates must be able to comply with the ASRC Energy Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, successfully pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both urinalysis and hair testing, and meet the physical requirements of working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
