Job Description

Project Engineering - Product Standardization

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead a strategic initiative focused on simplifying and standardizing our customer offerings. The Project Engineer will translate these standardized solutions into an existing framework utilized across multiple departments. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, technical leadership, and data-driven decision-making in a complex, matrixed environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional efforts across engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to gather requirements and drive project execution.
  • Analyze current product/service offerings to identify redundancies and opportunities for consolidation and standardization.
  • Establish governance and controls to sustain standardized offerings and prevent reintroduction of complexity.


Key Project Deliverables:

For the products; Car Operating Panel (COP), Hall Fixtures, Tracks and Hangers:

o Product Rationalization Framework

o Order Data Sheets (ODS) Files

o Assembly and Manufacturing drawings, developed in alignment with ODS sheets

o TK Note integration in Creo/Windchill

o Elog/MOD/OO Ordering integration

Must Have


  • 5+ years of project management experience, delivering initiatives in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Data Analytics
  • Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Platform Development
  • Process Mapping
  • Process Standardization
  • System Level Design
  • Technical Communication


Nice to Have

  • Assembly Manufacturing
  • Sheet Metal Manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical engineering background
