Job Description:

Position Summary, Custodial Technician - Team Lead

The Cleanroom Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day cleaning operations within a controlled cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with all safety, contamination control, and operational standards. This role leads and monitors cleaning staff, coordinates assigned activities and ensures proper cleaning techniques are consistently followed. The supervisor maintains inventory of cleanroom supplies, PPE, and garments, while also overseeing contractor and tenant activities to ensure adherence to cleanroom protocols. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient cleanroom environment and supports overall facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cleanroom cleaning staff to ensure daily operations are completed in compliance with established procedures and standards
• Coordinate and oversee cleaning activities within assigned areas to maintain contamination control and operational efficiency
• Ensure proper cleaning techniques and cleanroom protocols are consistently followed by all team members
• Maintain inventory of consumables, PPE, and cleanroom garments, ensuring adequate stock levels and organization
• Monitor contractor activities, including tool and equipment movement, to ensure adherence to cleanroom requirements
• Oversee daily cleanroom operations to ensure all personnel follow safety, security, and contamination control protocols
• Identify, address, and report any compliance, safety, or security concerns, including suspicious activity
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support cleanroom operations and organizational needs

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Custodial Technician - Team Lead

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Five (5) years of experience in the cleaning industry
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Ability to work overtime as needed to support business needs

This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check.

Preferred Qualifications, Custodial Technician - Team Lead

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Salary Range:  $ 23-25/hour
