Description
Adult Residential Support Professional (Part-Time, Benefit Eligible)

Location: Neillsville, WI
Schedule: 36 hours/week | Tuesday, Friday, and every other weekend | 8:00 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Pay: Starting at $17.75/hour

Are you passionate about helping others build healthier, more independent lives? Join Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI (LSS) at Deep River, our new residential Substance Use Disorder treatment facility in Neillsville.

Deep River provides trauma-informed, gender-specific residential treatment for adult men in a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment. As an Adult Residential Support Professional, you'll play an important role in supporting residents as they work toward lasting sobriety and personal growth.


What You'll Do


  • Support, monitor, and encourage residents while serving as a positive role model



  • Build supportive relationships that promote recovery and independence



  • Assist with medication monitoring or administration according to program policies



  • Complete documentation and maintain confidential client records



  • Help with housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and daily living activities



  • Support residents in achieving treatment goals and developing healthy routines



  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations



  • Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community services as needed



  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development




Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED required



  • Previous experience in human services, behavioral health, recovery support, or a related field preferred



  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills



  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries



  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record



  • DHS 83 training preferred (or willingness to obtain after hire)
