Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Chantilly VA. The Financial Analyst position performs a variety of financial activities including performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with month end close process.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $70,000- $75,000.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reporting and analysis of monthly financial information
• Compare budget and actual costs incurred, expenditures and financial swings from month to month.
• Use financial module to reconcile and identify any pool or account setup issues, work with stakeholders to make adjustment in Costpoint to fix the issues.
• Support internal and external audits as needed and ensure policies and procedures are met.
• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
• Develop and coordinate with all relevant internal and external parties to better utilize custom reporting tools and dashboards.
• Work on ad hoc and cross functional projects as assigned.
