Job Summary:

People Strategy Execution Consultant supports the effective governance, execution, and adoption of the enterprise People Strategy across the health system. The role coordinates strategic initiatives, monitors strategy progress and performance, supports governance processes, and designs change management and communication activities across the organization.

The role serves as a key operational and communications partner to HR leadership to help ensure people strategy priorities are clearly communicated, effectively implemented, and consistently reinforced across frontline teams and through executive leadership.

The position is ideal for a highly organized, analytically minded, and collaborative professional who can connect strategy, execution, communications, and organizational change in a complex and dynamic healthcare environment.

Coordinates execution activities related to enterprise People Strategy initiatives with HR leaders and operational stakeholders to maintain initiative plans, milestones, deliverables, and tracking mechanisms. Also partners with initiative owners across HR and operational teams to monitor progress and identify risks or dependencies.

Supports tracking and reporting of People Strategy goals, KPIs, and strategic outcomes to maintain scorecards and reporting materials in partnership with the Sr. Advisor, People Strategy Enablement and Enterprise People Strategy Advisor. Uses this data to prepare materials for governance meetings, strat3egic reviews, and executive updates.

Maintains documentation of strategic decisions, priorities, and initiative statuses related to the People Strategy to ensure alignment across HR leadership, HRBPs, Centers of Excellence, and operational stakeholders.

Assists in the development and execution of change management plans for strategic people initiatives to support stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and adoption activities.

Drafts and coordinates communications related to People Strategy priorities, progress, and outcomes with the HR Communications team to support development of leadership presentations, executive updates, employee-facing communications, and strategic messaging and FAQs.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 4-7 years related experience across a combination of HR Strategy or Operations, Strategy Execution or Program Management, Enterprise Change Management, and/or Healthcare Administration or Management Consulting.
  • Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, project management, and implementation skills.
  • Skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building.
  • Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to learn quickly, reason, synthesize and generalize based on information obtained.
  • Ability to focus on priorities, strategies, and vision.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • Experience in storytelling through data and/or developing effective executive briefs and communcations

  • Demonstrates experience translating business needs into analytics or data solutions

Salary Information


The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.


Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
