What to Expect Tesla's Semi Learning & Development team is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead a team of Training Instructors dedicated to supporting Semi production environments. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of training professionals who design and deliver scalable, production-aligned learning programs. You will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, standardizing processes, and ensuring compliance across Semi workflows. You will oversee a team of Training Instructors who are embedded in Semi production environments. Your team is responsible for delivering structured learning programs, facilitating knowledge transfer, and continuously improving training content to meet the evolving needs of the Semi org. You will serve as the bridge between training strategy and production execution, ensuring your team is equipped, aligned, and effective. What You'll Do Directlymanage,mentor,anddevelopateamofTrainingInstructorssupportingSemiproductionoperations,includingscheduling,workloaddistribution,andresourceallocation Setclearperformanceexpectations,conductregular1:1s,anddelivertimelyfeedbackandperformancereviewstofosteracultureofcontinuousimprovementandaccountability Overseethedevelopmentandmaintenanceoftrainingmaterials,processes,andresourcestailoredtoSemiproductionworkflows,including"TraintheTrainer"andDOJO-stylelearningsessions Monitorandevaluatetheeffectivenessoftrainingdeliveryonproductionprocedures,compliancestandards,andworkflowefficiency Partnerwithproductionleadership,operationsteams,andthebroaderSemiorgtoidentifytraininggaps,prioritizesolutions,andaligntrainingstrategywithorganizationalobjectives Trackandreportonteamperformancemetrics,trainingcompletionrates,andprogramimpacttoinform data-drivencontinuousimprovement CollaboratewithL&Dleadershiptoensuretrainingprogramsarescalable,consistent,andcontinuously improving What You'll Bring 4+ years of experience in training, education, operations, or a related field, with at least 4+ years in a people management or supervisory role Bachelor's Degree in Education, Training, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience Proven ability to lead and develop teams in fast-paced, dynamic production or manufacturing environments Strong understanding of adult learning principles, process standardization, and workflow optimization. Experience overseeing the design of engaging training content, including visual aids, interactive materials, and digital tools Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in high-pressure, rapidly changing environments Experience in training or development within production or operational environments strongly preferred.
