Job Title: Senior Data Analyst - Credit Decisioning (Python / Banking)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with strong Python expertise and banking domain knowledge to support credit decisioning and marketing initiatives. This role bridges business and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions that improve decision logic and customer targeting. Key Responsibilities
We're hiring a Senior Data Analyst with strong Python and U.S. banking experience to support credit decisioning for credit cards and consumer loans. This role focuses on implementing and optimizing decision logic within Credit Karma's platform. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, improving processes, managing ticket-based requests, and translating stakeholder needs into Python-based decision rules. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build, validate, and deploy logic that aligns with credit policy and marketing goals. Key skills: Python (pandas, NumPy, DataFrames), SQL (preferred), and experience with CI/CD, Git, and automation workflows. Strong understanding of U.S. credit products and credit reporting data is required. Experience in Jira/ServiceNow environments is highly preferred; exposure to Experian PowerCurve is a plus. This is a remote U.S.-based role with a collaborative team environment and structured onboarding for Credit Karma rules.
