As an Assembly Operator, you willbe responsible forassembling a wide range of electrical fastening products and components including but not limited to your hands, machinery, or various hand tools. Parts will be assembledin accordance withwork instructions and blueprints/drawings. It will be your responsibility to complete regular, scheduled quality checks to ensure parts are being assembled up tonVent'sstandards. WHATYOU WILLEXPERIENCEIN THIS POSITION:
- Work individuallyor aspart ofa teamto assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, and/or package an entire product orcomponentof a product according to Work Instructions.
- Completes work based on specifications, drawings, job routings, and/or Work Instructions.
- Selectsandmovesproduction materials asrequired.
- Maintainsequipmentand materials necessary to complete the operation.
- Meets established safety, quality, and performancestandards to ensure production schedules are met.
- Recordsaccurateinformation on Manufacturing Order and performs transactions necessary tomaintainaccuraterecords and inventory balances.
- Complies withall applicable safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S Standards. Reports adverse conditions, non-conforming products/procedures, and 5S violations to departmentleaderin accordancetoescalationprocedure.
- Adheres to department 5S standards daily. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- In accordance withescalation procedure, notify team leader or other appropriateresourcewhen problems arise concerning safety, quality, equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
- Demonstrates flexibility by performing rotational assignments as needed. Participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
YOU HAVE:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Knowledge in use of scales, preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferred
- Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints, preferred
- Experience in assembling mechanical parts into a finished product, preferred
- Experience in using hand and power tools, preferred
- Prior experience working in a light industrial facility preferred
