Job Overview

The Learning and Development Business Partner is a dedicated partner within an assigned region or internal customer group, responsible for delivering high-impact learning experiences that build capability and drive performance. This is a highly facilitative, field-facing role, working directly with teammates and leaders, facilitating programs, supporting development, and ensuring learning connects to real business results.


Reporting to the Senior Manager of Learning and Development, the L&D Business Partner serves as the primary learning resource for their region or customer group - building strong relationships with leaders, understanding their unique needs, and delivering solutions that help their teams grow and perform.

Duties & Responsibilities

Facilitation and Program Delivery



  • Serve as the primary facilitator for learning programs within the assigned region or internal customer group, including onboarding, leadership development, capability building, and sales training
  • Lead learning sessions with energy, credibility, and a strong command of adult learning principles - adapting delivery in the moment to meet the needs of the audience
  • Facilitate workshops, cohort programs, and team-based learning experiences for groups of all sizes across varied environments
  • Partner with the Senior Manager and broader L&D team to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery across the enterprise


Business Partnership



  • Build strong relationships with leaders and teammates within the assigned region or internal customer group to understand their priorities, challenges, and development needs
  • Serve as a trusted L&D resource - present, accessible, and responsive to the people you support
  • Participate in business meetings and leader conversations to stay current on changes that should inform learning priorities
  • Surface insights and trends from the field to the Senior Manager to inform program strategy and continuous improvement


Talent and Development Support



  • Support teammates in identifying career development opportunities and navigating growth within the organization
  • Partner with leaders to create development plans that address capability gaps and prepare teammates for future roles
  • Help identify high-potential teammates and connect them to the right development experiences and programs
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align talent development efforts with broader organizational priorities


Onboarding and Teammate Experience



  • Support the execution of onboarding programs within the region, ensuring new teammates have a consistent and high-quality entry experience
  • Reinforce onboarding content in the field, bridging the gap between formal learning and day-to-day application
  • Coordinate with the Onboarding Experience Manager to flag content gaps or regional nuances that should be reflected in enterprise programs


Measurement and Continuous Improvement



  • Track participation, completion, and feedback data for programs delivered within the region or customer group
  • Use evaluation insights to adjust delivery, identify needs, and recommend improvements
  • Report results to the Senior Manager in a clear, data-informed way that connects learning activity to business outcomes

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills - confident and engaging in front of groups of all sizes
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to earn trust quickly across all levels of an organization
  • Business acumen and the ability to connect learning to operational realities and business priorities
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a region without losing quality or follow-through
  • Clear communicator - in writing, in conversation, and on your feet
  • Collaborative team player who operates with a high degree of integrity and care for the people they serve
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with LMS platforms and e-learning tools a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related field with a demonstrated focus on facilitation and teammate development
  • Strong facilitation background - comfortable owning a room and delivering learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, and effective
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technology platforms
  • Experience working in a field-based or regional model preferred

Work Environment

This role requires up to 50% travel within the assigned region or to support internal customer group activities. Teammates in this role should expect extended periods of standing during facilitation, work across varied environments based on location needs, and regular use of standard office technology and tools.
