*Job Title: Bank Teller - Kennesaw, GA*
*Job Description*The Bank Teller provides members and prospective members with the full range of retail banking products and services, including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate, IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts, as well as lending products and credit and debit cards. This role delivers friendly, accurate, and efficient service while supporting members with their financial needs in a professional branch environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist members and prospective members with opening and servicing a full range of depository accounts, including checking, savings, certificate, IRA, revocable trust, and estate accounts. * Support members with lending products and services, as well as credit and debit card offerings, by explaining options and guiding them through basic processes. * Handle cash accurately and securely, including receiving deposits, processing withdrawals, cashing checks, and balancing cash drawers in accordance with policies and procedures. * Deliver high-quality, face-to-face customer service by greeting members, answering questions, and resolving routine issues in a professional and courteous manner. * Perform data entry and administrative tasks related to account maintenance, documentation, and record keeping using banking systems and Microsoft Office tools. * Promote appropriate banking products and services by identifying member needs and offering suitable solutions in a consultative and service-oriented manner. * Manage member accounts by updating information, processing routine transactions, and ensuring accuracy of records and documentation. * Maintain a strong customer service focus by actively listening to members, addressing concerns, and providing clear and accurate information. * Think creatively to provide alternative solutions to member needs and challenges, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to explore options. * Handle occasional rejection or declined offers with professionalism and resilience, maintaining confidence and a positive attitude. * Collaborate with team members in a branch environment to support overall service levels and contribute to a positive, member-focused culture. * Follow all banking, security, and compliance procedures to protect member information and uphold organizational standards. *Essential Skills* * Proven customer-facing or member service experience with a strong comfort level engaging and talking with people in person. * Demonstrated cash handling experience with attention to accuracy and adherence to procedures. * Customer service skills with the ability to remain professional, courteous, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to manage member accounts and perform basic account administration tasks accurately. * Basic knowledge of banking or prior financial services experience. * Proficiency with data entry and comfort working with banking systems and related software. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for routine administrative and documentation tasks. * Confidence in interacting with members, explaining products, and answering questions clearly. * Ability to think outside the box and provide alternative solutions when addressing member needs. * Resilience and comfort with occasional rejection when recommending products or services. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing transactions and handling cash. * Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, member interactions, and administrative duties during the business day. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Previous experience in a banking, finance, or retail banking environment. * Background in retail sales or customer-facing roles where recommending products and services was part of the role. * Administrative experience supporting front-office or customer service operations. * Experience working in a team-oriented, service-focused environment. * Comfort working with technology and learning new banking systems and tools. *Why Work Here?*You join a stable, well-established financial institution that offers strong job security, including a history of avoiding company-wide layoffs. You work in a member-facing setting, spending time both standing and sitting depending on business needs and member foot traffic. The schedule runs Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week when working Saturdays. The branch environment is professional and service-oriented, with regular use of banking systems, data entry tools, and Microsoft Office to complete daily tasks and support member transactions. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Kennesaw, GA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.42 - $21.42/hr.
