We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join their team and play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for every patient. Your contributions will directly impact patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall success of the healthcare journey from the very first interaction.

To be considered for this role, you must:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Be able to work the following schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


In this essential role, you will be at the forefront of patient experience, responsible for the critical initial steps in a patient's healthcare journey. You will ensure that all patient registrations are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and a deep understanding of patient needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment, working closely with clinical and administrative teams to uphold the highest standards of service. Your ability to manage high-volume periods with precision and empathy will be key to making a significant difference in the lives of those seeking care.

What You Will Do:



  • Complete patient admission and registration processes in accordance with established policies and legal requirements.
  • Accurately obtain and document necessary deductibles, co-payments, and deposits.
  • Secure required signatures on all registration-related documents.
  • Manage patient valuables following departmental guidelines.
  • Scan all relevant documentation into the designated system before the end of your shift.
  • Utilize various online systems, including direct payer websites, to gather insurance and patient demographic information.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to maintain quality registrations during peak periods, enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Foster strong cooperative relationships with both registration and clinical staff, providing necessary patient identification and documentation promptly.
  • Process updates from nursing staff in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, offering assistance to colleagues and recognizing when support is needed, while also performing high-quality work independently.
  • Deliver sensitive, timely, and appropriate customer service across all patient activity areas.
  • Obtain authorization from clinical staff for patient visitors.
  • Distribute Notice of Privacy Practices in compliance with regulations and organizational policy.
  • Maintain a professional, solution-oriented, and empathetic demeanor at all times.
  • Participate in department meetings, workshops, and in-services.
  • Cultivate collaborative working relationships with internal and external partners, such as clinical staff, ambulance services, and law enforcement.
  • Utilize a positive approach to manage demanding situations, completing tasks effectively and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Ensure office equipment is operational and be proficient in downtime procedures and alternative solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.


Must-Have Qualifications:



  • High school diploma.
  • Typing speed of 30 words per minute.
  • Proficiency in using multiple computer programs simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capable of working comfortably at both stationary and mobile workstations, requiring sitting and standing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse and often stressful environment.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate training and work schedule requirements.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree.
  • Proficiency in a second language.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.80 - $49.82 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
