SUMMARY

This position is responsible for Food & Beverage procurement systems, processes and related procurement activities for the New England Patriots Player Dining operation. The NEP Player Dining Receiver's responsibilities include but are not limited to assist in developing and maintaining the integrity of the Inventory Management System to ensure accurate and efficient coordination with internal teams regarding supply needs, assisting the Executive Chef with invoicing, product tracking, and other tasks to ensure the success of Culinary Player Dining Operation.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Purchases goods and services according to the company's policies and procedures.
  2. Coordinates with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain inventory levels.
  3. Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.
  4. Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
  5. Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards, specifications and agreed upon pricing.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  7. Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records.
  8. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • At least two years of purchasing experience required.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine purchasing needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT



  • Fast paced kitchen setting
  • The noise level in the WORK ENVIRONMENT is usually loud
