Overview SUMMARY: The Environmental Health & Safety Officer (EHSO), serving as a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) Level 2, is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance. This senior level professional plays a critical role in minimizing operational risks, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a safe, healthy work environment for all personnel on site.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in environmental health and safety practices, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to implement and enforce safety programs in a dynamic operational setting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead and manage all on site environmental health and safety programs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE: * Active Secret Clearance (required at time of hire). WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Must be able be able to conduct preventative maintenance activities and minor repairs from ladders or elevated platforms. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able be able to conduct preventative maintenance activities and minor repairs from ladders or elevated platforms. WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
