Occ Summary

Positions range from cashier to patient account representative.

Classification established to permit compensation to employees performing various duties under the jurisdiction of Duke Temporary Service. Incumbents are compensated at varying rates of pay based upon the duties and responsibilities involved in a given temporary assignment.

Required Qualifications

Education/Training

Work requires knowledge of basic mathematical and clerical principles generally acquired through a high school education.

Experience

Work generally requires 6 months of experience in a related position to become familiar wth the accepted clerical practices involved in receiving and paying cash, processing forms, counting money, preparing reports, and making deposits.

OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
