Job Title: Practice Coordinator 3

Location(s): San Francisco, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and manage approximately 55-60 patient calls per day.
• Provide patients with information, assistance, and support.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Accurately document patient interactions, inquiries, and appointment details.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and call center protocols to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Address patient concerns and complaints professionally.
• Provide basic healthcare-related information and directions to patients.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve patient issues.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant healthcare, medical office, or call center experience.
• Experience with APeX/Epic is required (non-APeX candidates will not be considered).
• Strong customer service and patient-facing communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Adaptable, dependable, and willing to learn.

Additional Information:

• High-volume patient call environment.
• No temp-to-permanent conversion opportunity currently available.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (No weekends)

Duration:

• 6-month contract (ASAP start)
