Here, you'll find everything you need to excel in your job including outstanding facilities, comprehensive resources and talented teammates in partnering for healing and a healthy future.Practicing within a Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited comprehensive cancer program, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate care for patients across all stages of urologic cancer.Responsibilities *Diagnose and treat disorders and cancers of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular malignancies. *Perform advanced procedures such as radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy, often utilizing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques to enhance precision and recovery. *Interpret diagnostic imaging and lab results related to endocrine disorders. *Develop and manage pre- and post-operative care plans. *Work closely with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. *Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case reviews. *Maintain accurate and timely documentation *Ensure adherence to surgical safety protocols and institutional policies. *Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, and recovery expectations. *Stay current with advancements in urological oncology through continuing education. *Mentor residents, fellows, or junior staff as applicable. * Participate in clinical trials or research initiatives aimed at improving surgical outcomes and techniques (if applicable). *Participate in tumor boards, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements *Board certified/eligible in Urology at time of employment *Successful completion of a residency program *Successful completion of fellowship accredited by the Society of Urologic Oncology *Current licensure in Washington State by the time of employment *DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority *Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association Why MultiCare Cancer Institute?
Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $560,000.00 - $625,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
