SUMMARY
The Talent Specialist Lead will be responsible for overseeing the team who recruits all part-time, event day staff. Additionally, this role will have direct responsibility for assigned non-exempt requisition recruitment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategize and stimulate a candidate pipeline through external recruiting activities, social media, job sites, careers fairs and other postings along with the development of key relationships. Focus efforts and actions on diversity initiatives to influence favorable outcomes. Measure impact and adjust as needed.
- Represent the company at recruiting events, be a professional and positive brand ambassador.
- Develop and create weekly key performance metric reports to communicate hiring status, progress and opportunities to key stakeholders including the Sports Group COO, SVP of HR, Director of Talent Acquisition and HRM. Oversee established hiring goals for the day of game recruitment team and be agile in developing corrective actions for deficiencies.
- Manage daily open requisitions and postings to ensure accuracy of open positions reported including the impact of terminations, promotions and hires.
- Oversee the adherence of the Event Recruiting Team to all recruiting protocols, policies and procedure. Provide coaching, counseling and mentoring to improve cycle times, outcomes and team development.
- Responsible for the recruitment strategy and adherence to all recruiting protocols and policies when sourcing full-time candidates. Aggressively work to improve cycle times for placement by working with the respective HRM and Hiring Managers.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with hiring managers. Escalate issues and concerns with schedules and timeliness to the Director of Talent or HRM to improve the candidate's experience.
- Collaborate with the AskHR Team, Hiring Managers and HRMs to ensure successful, timely placement of candidates.
- Provide best in class service for both candidates and hiring managers throughout recruitment process. Monitor Glass Door for feedback and opportunities for process improvement.
- Administer all employment practices and policies in strict compliance with Federal, State and Local Law including, but not limited to: record keeping. Comply with all HR Department Policies and Procedures including the requirement to maintain the departmental policies and procedures to be current, accurate and written for distribution to the impacted group.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 0-2 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined and detailed oriented
- Ability to operate in a confidential work environment
- Commitment to and appreciation of diversity in hiring practices
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Microsoft Office, Power Point
- Knowledge of State/Federal laws and regulations pertaining to labor, benefits and compensation preferred.
- Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
- Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
- Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
