SCOPE/CONTACTS:

The incumbent assists the HR leadership in support of all Human Resources functional areas. This role functions to provide data analytics and reporting tasks in support of overall HR operations. This role requires frequent interaction with applicants, employees, managers, officers, and external partners across the organization through various communication channels including email, virtual messaging, video conferencing, telephone, and in-person. Work is regularly reviewed. The incumbent works under close supervision with limited latitude. Moderate physical effort is required, including the movement of office and break room supplies. The role actively supports the organization's Customer Service First culture, adheres to established policies and procedures, and upholds the company's core values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides support across all functional areas within the HR department and cross trains in all functional areas as needed.
  • Conducts data analysis on HR data such as compensation, classification, employment, employee relations, and/or benefits data as directed.
  • Prepares reports, graphs, charts and statistics in support of human resources operations.
  • Responds to general inquiries from employees and candidates regarding application status, payroll, benefits, general inquiries, and other HR-related topics, escalating as needed.
  • Assists with record audits and mandatory reporting requirements as directed.
  • Performs special projects as assigned and assists team with project assignments and/or problems as directed.
  • Handles ad-hoc reporting requests from supervisors across all departments.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Actively participate in the Customer Service First program and support the values of the organization and follow established policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field or two years human resource experience required.
  • Workday HRIS experience preferred.
  • A successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, excellent self-directed work habits and good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must maintain confidentiality in all aspects of HR operations.
  • Position requires ability to sit for long periods using standard office computer equipment.
