POSITION SUMMARY

The Benefits Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, analysis, and support of Constellis' health and welfare benefit programs. This role serves as a key resource for employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders by ensuring accurate benefit enrollment, eligibility administration, compliance support, reporting, auditing, vendor coordination, and issue resolution. The Benefits Analyst partners closely with Human Resources, Payroll, vendors, and the Benefits team to deliver a high-quality employee benefits experience while maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and company requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Administer employee health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, leave-related benefits, spending accounts, commuter benefits, and wellness programs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Process and audit benefit enrollments, life events, eligibility changes, terminations, and benefit corrections within HRIS and benefits administration systems.
  • Perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of eligibility files, carrier feeds, payroll deductions, invoices, and benefits data.
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, brokers, and internal departments to resolve enrollment, billing, claims, and eligibility discrepancies.
  • Support annual Open Enrollment activities, including system testing, communications, reporting, employee support, and post-enrollment audits.
  • Assist with compliance-related activities, including ACA reporting, COBRA administration, HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain benefits-related documentation, standard operating procedures, employee communications, and training materials.
  • Support HRIS and benefits administration system configuration, testing, data validation, and interface troubleshooting.
  • Participate in benefits projects, implementations, vendor transitions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive business data.
  • Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. (please edit as applicable to the position, see instructions above)

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits administration, HR, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of health and welfare benefit plans and applicable regulations, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and Section 125.
  • Strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems such as UKG, Benefitfocus, ADP, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting Open Enrollment, vendor implementations, or benefits integrations.
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed.
  • Self-motivation, eagerness to grow professionally, and commitment to self-development.
  • May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
