Job Summary

The HR Coordinator provides administrative, coordination, and transactional support for a fast-paced Human Resources team. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, supporting day-to-day HR operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. The HR Coordinator assists with onboarding, recruiting coordination, employee lifecycle activities, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives. This position offers broad exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources and is ideal for an organized professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering exceptional employee support.

Job Responsibilities



  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding routine HR inquiries, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Support the implementation and administration of HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling, onboarding documentation, and system access requests.
  • Assist with recruiting processes, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, requisition tracking, and pre-employment activities.
  • Support employee lifecycle transactions, including job changes, transfers, leaves of absence, and terminations.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, trackers, records, and documentation to support workforce planning and reporting needs.
  • Assist with employee relations activities by coordinating meetings, documenting information, and preparing materials.
  • Partner with shared services teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of HR transactions.
  • Provide administrative support for employee engagement, training, and culture initiatives.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support special HR projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources, HR administration, or a related administrative role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, reporting, and data management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-service-oriented approach with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Education



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources, HR administration, or a related administrative role required.
  • Two or more years of experience in an HR Coordinator or HR administrative role preferred.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, distribution, or fast-paced operational environment preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, employee data management, recruiting coordination, or onboarding processes preferred.
