Adjunct Instructor

Duties Include: Teach EPLS:4180 "Human relations for the Classroom Teacher" in both fall and spring semesters face-to-face on the University of Iowa campus. Course is scheduled Thursday afternoon and runs 16 weeks starting August 26 (fall) and January 20 (spring). Coordinate with discussion section instructors run each week by teaching assistants. Course is required in our teacher preparation program to meet Iowa standards for teacher licensure specific to the study of "human relations, cultural competency and diverse learners" (per Iowa Codes 79.15(2) and 79.15(5))

Experience Requirements: K-12 teaching experience.

Educational Requirements: At least a Master's degree in Education from an accredited school.
