The Chief of Staff, Network will serve as a key advisor to the President, Health Network in organizing, developing and executing long- and short-term plans and initiatives within the Health Network Business Unit. This position will provide oversight and guidance to high priority initiatives and will lead key strategic cross-functional and transformational projects. The Chief of Staff, Network will have the authority to make official commitments and broadly represent the President, Health Network interests across the organization. This role will respond to issues with little or no precedence and will work on complex issues or problems as they arise. As part of the Network Senior Executive Team, the Chief of Staff, Network will work closely and in support of key enterprise stakeholders, including members of the Senior Leadership Council, affiliate partners such as John Muir Health, Marin Health, and Washington Health; Medical Directors, School of Medicine leadership, and other key administrative and leadership positions. With the President, Health Network, the Chief of Staff, Network position will help ensure Health Network Business Unit initiatives to advance clinical, operational, and organizational goals are implemented through efficient collaboration with the Network Senior Executive Team and other UCSF Health leadership teams.
