We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Systems Analyst I on our JLCCTC program.

This is an onsite position at our Orlando, FL offices.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:



  • Work under the guidance of senior administrators in a small team of software professionals within an Agile environment to support team milestones and project goals.
  • Assist in the routine maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of network infrastructure and virtualized systems.
  • Support the deployment and configuration of VMware solutions and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) templates.
  • Execute standard system maintenance, including installing operating systems, service packs, security patches, and bug fixes across Windows and Linux environments.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and technical support for VMware environment issues, escalating complex problems as necessary.
  • Assist with the configuration of Cisco networking equipment, including basic routing, switching, and VLAN management.
  • Build and stage computer hardware and virtual machines within a VMware environment as part of program infrastructure scaling.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and program-specific software licenses.
  • Provide on-site technical support during domestic and international travel to Military Installations.


ABOUT YOU:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • 0 to 3 years of experience supporting IT projects, networking, or systems administration.
  • Foundational knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
  • CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA) is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of IT protocols and wired/wireless networking infrastructures.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a focus on technical documentation.
  • Must hold (or have the ability to obtain) a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities:



  • Basic familiarity with multiple Operating Systems, including RHEL 8/9, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2022.
  • Introductory knowledge of server hardware (blades), storage solutions (NetApp), and user account management.
  • Fundamental understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, subnets, and standard protocols.
  • Interest in or exposure to container technologies like Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Eagerness to develop a thorough professional understanding of VMware virtualization technologies.
