The Department of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati (UC) seeks to hire an Assistant Professor-Educator who will contribute to our undergraduate instructional mission. The majority of our curriculum is designed for students who are enrolled in 4-year degree programs that are optimized for either general psychological science knowledge and skill development (BA) or preparation for scientific careers (BS). This position is a non-tenure eligible Assistant Professor-Educator position with an intended start date of August 15, 2026. The initial term is 3 years and is renewable upon satisfactory performance. All new faculty are provided with mentorship to maximize success in the role. The expected teaching load is seven 3-credit courses per academic year or the equivalent. The retention and promotion criteria for Educator faculty emphasize teaching excellence, leadership in instructional innovation, and professional service. Research productivity is not required or evaluated but is permitted. The Department of Psychology highly values the ability to teach and support students from a variety of backgrounds.
