We are looking for a qualified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team of 13 highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers. We offer a supportive team environment with hands-on training from our surgeons, residents, and fellow APP's. The provider in this role will be first assisting in Ortho surgery cases as well as work in post-op care in the inpatient setting. Job Summary First assist in orthopedic surgery - including hip and knee replacement, shoulder and elbow, spine, and foot and ankle Perioperative patient care: Ordering and interpreting labs admission history and physicals inpatient rounding and discharge completions This is a full-time position and will consist of 4 shifts per week. No weekends, holidays, or nights. Below is the schedule: Monday: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Wednesday: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Thursday: 9:00 am - 7:30 pm Friday: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm NP's will be required to have completed the RN first assist course to be considered. You must be an ACNP or PA to be considered for the role.We cannot accept FNPs. Join our developing team with great room for growth, and a collaborative atmosphere. New grads are welcome. Minimum Qualifications: - Education/Training - Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. - Experience - License/Certification/Registration - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
