Job Summary

The Recruiter will support high-volume, full-cycle recruiting efforts in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, tracking applicants, coordinating hiring activities, and supporting organizational initiatives. The Recruiter will also assist with new union hire orientations and collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure recruiting goals and deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities



  • Manage high-volume, full-cycle recruiting activities for ongoing hiring needs
  • Source candidates through job boards and other recruiting channels
  • Screen resumes and manage large applicant pools using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and hiring processes
  • Assist with conducting new union hire orientations
  • Maintain and update recruiting spreadsheets and weekly status reports with accurate data tracking
  • Collaborate with business leaders, hiring managers, and recruiting teams to drive hiring results
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, middle management, and senior leadership
  • Support recruitment staff and organizational restructuring initiatives
  • Ensure accuracy in reporting metrics, recruiting activity, and deliverables


Job Requirements



  • Experience recruiting for engineering, utility, or telecommunications roles
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience with resume screening and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience creating and maintaining detailed tracking spreadsheets
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism


Preferred Qualifications



  • Union recruiting or union environment experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and performance goals
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to keep teams organized and on track
  • Team-oriented mindset


Education



  • Bachelor's degree required


Work Experience



  • Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or related staffing functions in a high-volume environment required
