Job Summary

The Welder I is responsible for performing routine welding operations on production components and assemblies in a manufacturing environment. This role performs hand welding and robotic welding on both repetitive and non-repetitive work while ensuring products meet quality, safety, and production standards. The Welder I prepares materials for welding, operates various welding equipment, performs finishing work, and supports manufacturing operations as needed. The ideal candidate possesses 1-3 years of welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work from manufacturing instructions, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 1-3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment required.
  • Experience performing MIG, TIG, spot, arc, or plasma welding operations preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to safely operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools.
  • Experience using grinders, deburring tools, and finishing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical production activities throughout the workday.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 1-3 years of welding experience required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment preferred.
  • Experience operating MIG, TIG, arc, spot, or plasma welding equipment preferred.
  • Experience reading manufacturing instructions, work orders, or assembly documentation preferred.
  • Experience performing grinding, deburring, fitting, and finishing operations preferred.
