As a Security Officer Screening Attendant in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or team members, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or personal property entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with post orders and established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or delivery documentation as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or operational areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions, equipment issues, and/or operational disruptions within the logistics environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
