Security Officer Screening Specialist

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Gluckstadt, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics location, where you will help monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen people, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with post instructions and report concerns through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and communicating relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
