Job Overview

This position trains in creating and delivering training and development programs related to technology and computer applications for all levels of end-users while performing entry level, routine tasks. Supports and assists with developing content, conducting and facilitating training, creating, editing and maintaining technical and training materials.

Potential Specialty Areas: Business Intelligence, Clinical, Technical Writing

  • Trains in conducting and facilitating on-site and in-house training on the use of computers and associated software programs, features and operations.
  • Trains in designing and creating training programs, training courses workshops, multimedia courses, , and on-line help for all levels of end-users and IT professionals.
  • Trains in the design and creation of computer based training (CBT), web based training programs, and online learning modules as required for area.
  • Trains in designing, developing, writing, editing and implementing customized technical documents including user manuals, online help, training manuals, installation manuals, help documents and tutorials for information technology equipment or software applications for end users. Assists in gathering information about needs, objectives, functions, features, and requirements.
  • Assists with creating and maintaining technical documentation and instructional material.
  • Trains in the development and setup of the training and development environment for systems and programs.
  • Trains in the support of end-users and provides tier 2 support for supported systems as required.
  • Establishes ongoing relationships with assigned user groups.
  • Assumes on-call responsibilities as required.

Additional Information
Department Name: Revenue Cycle Administration
Job Status: Full time, 40 hours per week.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, Hybrid. Standard holiday closures.

SCOPE AND LEVEL

  • Guidelines: Possesses knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field of specialization. Gains experience on the job and assists higher levels in executing duties and tasks.
  • Complexity: Duties and tasks are typically routine and standardized, but may be elevated depending on the role. Procedures, methods and techniques to carry out work are generally, but not always, well defined. Resolves some questions and problems, and escalates as needed.
  • Decision Making: Has little to no discretion in making decisions without escalating to a higher level employee, supervisor and/or manager. Decisions and recommendations are limited to relating existing organizational policies to specific cases. Issues that are not covered by guidelines or that are without precedence are escalated.
  • Communication: Communicates factual information relative to the organization and/or own function generally with team members and peers only, but in some cases clients and/or the public. Uses little to no discretion or independent judgment but rather communicates within the parameters of clearly defined procedures and instructions.
  • Supervision Received: Works under direct supervision and work product is subject to frequent inspection. May assist in orienting and training lower level employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree is required.
  • EXPERIENCE - No related experience is required.
  • EQUIVALENCY - Combination of post-high school education, job related certification and/or related experience equivalent to 4 years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $31.24 to $46.86
