Job Description Summary Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Temporary Structures Are you ready for a warehouse role that's more than just riding a forklift and moving pallets? At Sunbelt Rentals, our Structures Division handles the big stuff-massive fabric covers, heavy steel/aluminum framing, and specialized structural components. We aren't loading standard box trucks with a pallet jack; we are building out custom orders, loading flatbed trailers, and securing heavy industrial equipment with straps and chains. If you thrive in a highly active, hands-on, outdoor/indoor environment and take pride in precision and physical teamwork, we want you on our Memphis team. What You'll Do (The Real Grind): Heavy-Duty Loading: Safely load and unload flatbeds using a mix of forklifts, specialized material handling gear, and good old-fashioned muscle. Secure the Load: Master the art of properly strapping, chaining, and securing unique structural components to prevent damage and ensure safe transit. Order Precision: Read pick lists, assemble custom job packages, and validate specialized parts so our installation crews have exactly what they need on-site. Inventory & Returns: Receive incoming gear, verify counts against driver loads, check for damages, and keep our yard tight and organized. What It Takes: True Manual Labor Stamina: You genuinely enjoy a physical job. You can repeatedly and safely lift up to 50 lbs. and handle full-range-of-motion work. Flatbed/Rigging Mindset: Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is great, but a willingness to learn flatbed loading and securing techniques is a must. (Forklift certification is a plus, but we will train the right person). Sharp Eye for Detail: Basic math and solid communication skills to keep inventory flawless and custom orders accurate. Team First & Safety Always: A cooperative attitude, a professional look (uniform provided), and a strict commitment to passing our standard drug screen and keeping an excellent attendance record. Base Pay Range: $18.99 - 26.11 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
