BID/JOB ANNOUNCEMENT This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City's collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid. The Chicago Department of Transportation is seeking an Accountant to perform professional accounting duties in establishing project funding, interfund reimbursements and billing, audits and grant set ups in OGM, revenue analysis, reconciliations and overtime. Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a directly related field, plus 15 semester hours in Accounting SELECTION REQUIREMENTS This position requires applicants to complete an interview.
