Role Summary

The Analytics Project Lead is a business-facing technical leader who partners closely with client accounts and internal business lines to identify, design, and deliver high-impact data, analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions. This role focuses on understanding business processes, uncovering opportunities for disruption or improvement, and translating those opportunities into scalable, reusable solutions.

The Analytics Project Lead builds trusted relationships, shapes solution concepts, rapidly prototypes and delivers working solutions, and communicates value through clear demos and data storytelling. In addition to hands-on delivery, this role curates and prioritizes a pipeline of solution opportunities for the broader FS Elevate team, helping guide what gets built next and why.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with account teams and business stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and strategic objectives across financial services and real estate domains.
  • Identify opportunities to improve or disrupt business processes using data, automation, analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Translate business problems into well-defined solution concepts, including functional scope, technical approach, and expected value.
  • Design and build end-to-end solutions, spanning data ingestion, modeling, APIs, analytics tooling, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Rapidly prototype solutions to validate concepts, gather feedback, and demonstrate value before scaling.
  • Develop web-based analytics tools (web apps) and workflows, enabling insight and action rather than static reporting.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to accelerate solution design, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Lead solution demos, walkthroughs, and data storytelling sessions for internal and external audiences, tailoring messaging to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curate and maintain a pipeline of solution ideas and opportunities, helping prioritize work for the broader FS Elevate analytics team.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, product managers, and developers to transition solutions from prototype to scalable delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance during build phases, ensuring solutions are practical, extensible, and aligned with platform standards.

Required Experience and Skillsets

  • 7+ years of experience across solution architecture, analytics engineering, data engineering, or full-stack platform development roles.
  • Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders or client accounts to define problems and shape technical solutions.
  • Strong ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology, automation, and AI.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building end-to-end solutions using cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with practical experience using PSpark and modern ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Experience building analytics tools and data-driven applications that integrate APIs with web-based front ends (e.g., React).
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and modern IDEs, applied to solution design, code generation, and implementation.
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills, including the ability to demo solutions and clearly articulate value to diverse audiences.
  • Experience collaborating within shared services or platform teams while supporting multiple client accounts or business lines.
  • Domain experience in financial services, real estate, or operational performance analytics.
