CDL Driver - Class A (Home Daily!) Freedom, PA Standard Hours : 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour 26-04836 Our client is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver to support local and regional deliveries throughout the area. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking a consistent daytime schedule, competitive pay, and the ability to return home daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting fire sprinkler pipe, construction materials, and related products while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and DOT compliance. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including flatbeds and tractor-trailers Deliver materials to customer job sites and business locations Load, unload, and properly secure materials for transportation Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers Pick up customer returns and local purchase orders as needed Assist with warehouse activities during non-driving periods Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience Safe driving record and commitment to DOT compliance Experience operating flatbed trucks and/or tractor-trailers Strong customer service and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused Ability to lift, load, unload, and secure materials as needed Basic smartphone proficiency required Preferred Experience Forklift operation Moffett operation Construction materials delivery Industrial or building materials transportation Warehouse or material handling experience Additional Information Local and regional delivery routes within approximately a 5-hour radius Home daily Day shift schedule Overtime opportunities available based on business needs Approximately 90-95% driving and 5-10% warehouse responsibilities Qualified CDL drivers seeking a stable opportunity with consistent hours and daily home time are encouraged to apply.
