Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: New York City (Hybrid - 1 day onsite weekly)
Compensation: $115K-$125K base + 10% bonus

Overview

Our client is seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support employees and leadership across key business functions. This role will serve as a strategic partner to management while helping drive employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable balancing both strategic HR partnership and day-to-day employee support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to support business and workforce objectives
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and workplace policies
  • Support employee engagement and talent development initiatives
  • Advise managers on HR best practices and employment-related matters
  • Assist with performance reviews, coaching conversations, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR programs and initiatives
  • Support organizational growth and change management efforts
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in an HRBP or HR Generalist capacity
  • Strong experience handling employee relations and performance management matters
  • Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting corporate or professional services environments
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
