60-70% TRAVEL- in US and international Sr. Event Manager 3 days onsite NYC Client: Start up (would like someone with start up experience) We are seeking an experienced Sr. Events Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our events execution team. This role will lead complex event execution, mentor junior team members, and serve as a succession planning candidate for leadership. You'll be responsible for flawlessly executing high-stakes corporate events and consumer activations while building scalable processes that support our growth. Complex Event Execution Leadership Lead on-site execution of high-complexity corporate events and consumer activations nationwide/globally Serve as primary event lead for sophisticated multi-day experiences and unique venue requirements Manage real-time problem solving and contingency execution during events Execute renewal processes for existing client relationships Support complex client onboarding processes Vendor & Budget Management Own vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management Manage event budgets and cost optimization initiatives Establish and maintain primary venue relationships across key markets Oversee logistics coordination and day-of event setup Process Development & Training Create and refine event execution playbooks and standard operating procedures Deliver training programs for instructor workforce Mentor Events Coordinator on complex event elements Support data collection and analysis for revenue forecasting Quality Assurance & Client Support Handle escalated client issues and high-touch communications Support complex client relationships and satisfaction initiatives Oversee quality metrics for assigned events Contribute strategic input to event strategy and vision Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York City, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $58.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
