Job Highlights
  • Manage the Personal Care customer portfolio for F&F, covering traditional F&F products and the full range of cosmetic ingredients relevant to Personal Care applications. Support negotiations, pricing, and commercial conditions under the guidance of senior sales management. Monitor orders, contracts, and customer satisfaction to ensure reliable execution and service.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Personal Care market, including new customers, applications, and portfolio expansion. Support the implementation of account plans and growth strategies for existing and potential customers. Work closely with distributors and partners, supporting their development and performance in the Personal Care segment.
  • Act as a key source of market insights for LANXESS related to the Personal Care and Cosmetics industry. Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, formulation trends, innovations, and competitor activities. Translate market observations into clear insights and opportunities, sharing them with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams. Support strategic discussions by providing input that helps LANXESS develop and adapt its Personal Care portfolio and value propositions.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and document interactions, opportunities, and insights in the CRM system. Actively exchange information with global and regional sales and marketing teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Support sales routines including pricing updates, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting. Contribute to budget preparation and forecast accuracy for the Personal Care business. Support customer credit evaluation processes, in alignment with internal guidelines.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other market interfaces relevant to Personal Care and Cosmetics to strengthen LANXESS's visibility and network.
  • Ensure proper processing and feedback of complaints.
Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Personal Care, Cosmetics, Flavors & Fragrances, or specialty chemicals is preferred. Initial experience in sales, technical sales, or market development is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate technical and market information into commercial opportunities.
  • Analytical mindset with curiosity about market trends and customer behavior.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to travel and actively engage with customers and the market.
